Keywording differs from picture agency to picture agency. A specialized agency like KIDS IMAGES has to take care of other things like for example a not specialized agency.
So, here are our tips for your success:
Ages:
• Newborns match to an age from 0-3 months
• Babies match to an age from 3-12 months
• Toddlers to an age from 12-24 months
• Children are starting at 25 months
• At age of 12 Children start being teenagers
Ages and amounts:
All descriptions of ages are numerical like for example:
• 12-24 months
• 4 years
• 12 years
• 15-20 years
• 20-30 years and so on…
If you are searching for “two fathers”, “two children”, “two mothers” or even “two flowers” you have to write out the word, like in our example.
Searching for an toddler, you may write: 12-24 months or 1 and 2 years.
But if you are looking for an girl between 2 and 3 years, you should enter: 2 and 3 years.
All children starting at age of 3 are indicated in year dates and not anymore in months.
Flexibility
Our database is working with synonyms, this means most of the time you have different possibilities of words to succeed.
Nevertheless it sometimes is profitable to rethink a little bit, if you couldn’t find what you are looking for.
Either by typing in more general keywords, like for example:
“beach” instead of “coast”, “sea” instead of “ocean”. “indoors” instead of “house”
If you are looking for a “Mother with child” you will sure get more accurate results by typing in this, instead of “family”.
